Titanium Yellow and Opera Color Mixing Chart

Opera, though fugitive, is such an awesome colour. 

In this chart you can see PY53 watercolour mixed with various Opera colours. Again these are swatched on my trusty Kmart watercolour paper.

My absolute favourite set of mixes is the top row, which is a handmade watercolour I made using Stuart Semple's Pinkest Pink pigment. It's so bright, and so pink!

Kusakabe's Aurora Pink comes in at a close second place in terms of brightness (also it comes as a paint already!), and for something slightly less loud and fluorescent, there's the W&N Opera Rose.

Generally though, if you love Opera, you could take your pick from any of the brands available as they all turn out pretty similar in mixes.
